Ceri Lee has taught yoga professionally since 2001, inspired by the philosophy and hatha practice that she found to greatly benefit the body and mind. Her passion to offer accessible yoga as part of a healing and transformational journey is informed by her wide spectrum of certified training in advanced Sivananda Yoga, Remedial Yoga, and more recently Menopause Yoga. Her classes reflect yoga as the path of balance through an equal measure of specialist breath work, technical application in asana (posture), and relaxation. As a Reiki practitioner she also works with the energetic body to release blockages so that energy flows and vitality is restored.
With over thirty years of yoga practice and experience, Ceri’s style has become more nuanced. She has found postural grace in refining her approach with a slow hatha flow, providing opportunity to access physical challenge with a sense of spaciousness by paying close attention to even the most basic postures. She demonstrates that despite ageing, yoga can maintain a strong and supple body, and with a regular self-enquiring practice, can induce a profound sense of balance, clarity, and peace.
