Lisa Powell has been teaching yoga since 2001. Lisa has trained in Sivananda, Vinyasa, Restorative, Pregnancy, Well Women, Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness, Aerial and Tantra Yoga. She is also a JourneyDance Facilitator. Lisa fondly remembers the first time the magic of yoga touched her heart and has not looked back since.
Lisa has been teaching classes, workshops, retreats, holidays and short courses for many years and absolutely loves the depth that yoga has to offer not only herself but her students.
Through regular practice yoga leads us to a life that thrives in every area and Lisa includes asana, pranayama, relaxation, meditation, mudra and mantra. Her sessions are guided by the ancient teachings of yoga and are intended to help her students have a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. Lisa uses story, intention and a deep dive into enquiry but is also known to be light-hearted and fun. She doesn’t judge and is very inclusive. Her go-to words are Kindness, Non-Judgement and Acceptance.
