BOOK NOWAbout The Cattle Shed
Nestled on the side of the Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak District, this former Cattle Shed is now a stylish and contemporary barn conversion with wonderful views of Froggatt Edge and the surrounding valley.
Close to the market town of Bakewell, the magnificent Chatsworth House and the beautiful medieval Haddon Hall there is plenty to explore. The surrounding landscape rolls out in all directions offering climbing ridges and miles of trails, a walker's paradise.
Retreat programme
The first class will be on Thursday evening, followed by a delicious dinner made by our own retreat chef. There will be 2 classes on the Friday and Saturday, a more dynamic morning class to align to body and breath and an afternoon practice to delve deeper into the postures and relax and restore.
Each day after morning yoga and a healthy breakfast, there will be the opportunity to head out for a walk, have a massage, explore the local area or simply relax with a good book. On Saturday a guided group hike will be offered.
Arrival time on Thursday 17 October is from 4pm onwards. The first yoga session will be at 5.30pm. The weekend will finish on Sunday 19 October at 10am after breakfast.
Things to do
Between yoga classes there will be time for you to explore the surrounding countryside with stunning walks of varying length and difficulty right on the door step. On Saturday a guided group hike will be offered.
The famous Monsal cycle trail is closeby if you fancy an adventure on two wheels. The local town of Bakewell is worth a walk around and a visit to Chatsworth House is a must.
If you are looking to take in the landscape at a slower pace there's a cosy lounge with deep and comfortable sofas and panoramic windows overlooking the breathtaking view. Massage treatments will also be on offer with a local therapist over the weekend. By night there's a large deck perfect for star gazing as you gather around the fire pit.
