Nicki Lobsang
Rooted in her Tibetan heritage, Nicki grew up deeply curious about the philosophy of Buddhism and its profound belief in interconnectedness. This early grounding in compassion and unity sparked a lifelong journey of self-discovery and balance, leading her to explore practices that could bring harmony to the challenges of modern life.
Nicki discovered yoga during a pivotal transitional period which set her on path that she didn’t expect. Her first training took her to Mysore, India, the birthplace of Ashtanga yoga, where she quickly discovered the transformative magic beyond the poses. She continued to be a dedicated student, deepening her practice in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Forrest Yoga.
Nicki’s intention is to hold a non-judgemental, welcoming space for all — regardless of background or experience. Her classes encourage you to embrace your body, nurture self-love, and explore your own unique potential. Blending modern anatomy with ancient Buddhist philosophy, her teaching style encourages playful proprioception and opportunity to explore and challenge yourself. Expect a steady, breath-led class designed to activate your centre, connect you to your breath, and leave you feeling strong, rooted, and recharged.
At the heart of Nicki’s teaching is a simple yet powerful aim: to help cultivate peace of mind and a compassionate heart.
