About the Sadhana weekender
Led by Dory, our Sadhana Yoga weekender returns in August 2021 with the primary focus being you. Immerse yourself in yogic practices, nurture yourself and dive deep into the practice. Enjoy the surrounding Devon countryside, eat delicious wholesome food, take a sauna and find the space to breathe.
There will be a full daily programme of yoga practice as outlined below. Dory will host the weekend and hold the space. Please note this weekend is not suitable for complete beginners - at least one year of practice is recommended.
Just two miles from Totnes, Eden Rise provides a beautiful environment for this Sadhana weekend. Neighbouring land includes wooded fringes, the Harbourne river, sculptures and shrines and the Santa Rosa labyrinth.

My favourite yoga retreat so far. Just back from a weekend at Eden Rise in Totnes. A lovely group and fabulous teacher. The weekend was well set up for a good balance of classes, workshops, rest and scrumptious meals. it was a blessing, very grounding and nurturing. Thank you. I will be booking up for more retreats with you!Sarah
Dory has a way of teaching that enables you to explore what your body is capable of without pushing you, or comparing yourself to others in the room. The best part is the relaxation; covered in a cosy blanket with a lavender scented eye pillow, the evening falling outside and the night air wafting in. I don't think I have ever felt so relaxed. I will definitely be booking again.Thank you.Emma
Thank you so much for a wonderful yoga weekend! Dory's yoga teaching was everything I could have hoped for - beautifully balanced practices with new awareness for me to take home, all taught with kindness and fun! I really respected your knowledge and practice as well as your good-vibe teaching.Lissa
Thank you for such a a lovely experience for my first yoga retreat. It was such a beautiful location, the venue was so inviting and comfortable and the food very tasty and plentiful. The yoga was very well paced, taught really well and interspersed with pranayama and meditation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your retreats and have already mentioned to friends - I will certainly be booking again!
Just to send heartfelt gratitude once again for the wonderful retreat at the weekend. Dory, you are so inspiring and words just can’t do justice to the impact the whole weekend, with you at its helm, has had on me.Annabelle
Your strong, loving and sensitive presence was exactly what I needed. Thank you.Ambika
