About Finca Sanau

Finca Sanau is situated in the south of Mallorca. An authentic Mediterranean style retreat finca set in luscious gardens which naturally create their own private spaces and corners ideal for resting, meditating or reading to the sound of running water from the fountains or the singing of the birds at sun set.

The finca offers a generous space with diverse terraces, a swimming pool and hammocks under the trees in the fresh breeze and shade. A palm tree courtyard connects the main house to the terraces and the yoga space.

Retreat programme

There will be two yoga classes each day in the light and airy and fully equipped yoga space.

Each day will begin with a morning class of meditation and an energising morning flow to gently open the body and attune the mind to the breath. The classes will be suitable for all levels and yoga experience.

The afternoon class will be a more restorative class to delve deeper into the postures.

Between yoga classes there will be the chance to explore the beautiful natural surroundings, head out to the beach or local towns, or simply rest and relax and take a massage. During the week there will be one yoga free day.

Things to do

The peaceful and beautiful location of the finca is only a 30 minute drive from the airport and cosmopolitan Palma. Also ideally placed to enjoy south Mallorca´s best beaches and poetic coastal villages only 20 minutes away.

This authentic Mallorcan house is surrounded by large spacious gardens with many different places to sit inspired by the beauty of nature in a magical atmosphere ideal to restore balance to mind, body and spirit. There are many terraces around the house and the pool where one can enjoy relaxing alone or within the company of the group.

Accommodation & food

The interior of the house is bathed in natural light, the style is simple but warm, tasteful and welcoming.

There are single, double, twin and triple bedrooms to accommodate all. Some with en suite bathrooms and others with bathrooms shared between 2 rooms.

Throughout the day you will be offered a delicious and abundant buffet vegetarian brunch after morning yoga, a nutritious afternoon snack and dinner each evening prepared with the freshest seasonal, locally-sourced fruits and vegetables.

The finca grow their own ecological vegetables and fruits, cold press their own olive oil and harvest the fresh eggs from our own free range chickens. Truly embracing the Mallorca lifestyle.

Client Reviews

What a wonderful week. I’m a newcomer to yoga so was nervous about being able to keep up but Rebecca adapted for all skill levels in this beautiful location and I had an amazing restorative week.
