About West Lexham

West Lexham Manor in Norfolk is the ideal location for a summer weekend retreat. Set in peaceful countryside perfect for long walks and a short drive away from the sweeping sandy beaches of Holkham and Brancaster for those wanting some sea air.

The estate offers an idyllic natural environment with accommodation in luxury modern en-suite rooms and cosy cabins set on the side of a lake. The heritage barn has been stunningly converted and provides an airy, bright space perfect for yoga and gathering.

Retreat programme

The retreat will begin on Friday evening with a welcome class followed by a delicious dinner. Emma will then lead you through two classes on the Saturday in the beautiful barn shala. She will offer an uplifting, dynamic morning class to align body and breath, followed by breakfast.

During the day there will be plenty of time for walks, massage treatments, a trip out to the beach or curling up with a good book. There will be a delicious healthy lunch and the group will meet again in the late afternoon for a more restorative practice to delve deeper into the postures. In the evening the group will gather again for dinner in the barn and chats around the fire pit.

Emma will also weave daily healing sound baths into the schedule with her magical crystal bowls! You're in for a treat.

Arrival time on Friday 21 June will be from 4pm. Departure on Sunday 23 June will be at midday after a lake dip for those who fancy it, energising morning yoga and a nourishing brunch.

Things to do

West Lexham is perfectly situated for long country walks or you can take a short drive to the sweeping sandy beaches of Holkham and Brancaster for some sea air.

Massage treatments will be on offer over the weekend and there's a swimming pool and a lake perfect for a dip. Or you can simply curl up in a quiet corner with a good book.

Accommodation & food

West Lexham offers unique, beautiful and very comfortable accommodation with a mix of single, twin and double rooms, charming en-suite treehouses, cosy wooden cabins and bell tents set on the side of the lake.

The luxurious bedrooms are all en-suite and set around a courtyard adjacent to the yoga barn. All have underfloor heating and huge windows which flood the rooms with natural light. They combine rustic charm with funky modern twists.

The charming treehouses, wooden cabins and bell tents are a short walk from the barn with views of the lake. The treehouses and cabins have en suite bathrooms and the bell tents share the high quality garden washroom facilities closeby.

Delicious healthy meals will be served throughout the retreat. Vegetarian delights to nourish body and soul using seasonal, organic vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs picked daily from the West Lexham gardens.
