About Cabo Serai

Set on a secluded hill, a stone’s throw away from the azure waters of Cabo de Rama beach, lies Cabo Serai. In the heart of Southern Goa, overlooking the Arabian Sea, it is a little adventure to reach this eco-conscious retreat, immersed in nature with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding areas.

Fresh water flows from a stream into the sweeping sandy cove of Cabo de Rama beach bordered by a native coconut plantation offering a shaded tranquil grove perfect for relaxation.

This retreat offers an opportunity to dive deeply into your yoga practice in stunning nature and restore your elemental balance.

Retreat programme

Join Emma for a yoga retreat at this very special place with a yoga shala on the hilltop with breathtaking views of the sea and another located in the shaded coconut grove by the white sands of Cabo de Rama beach.

Each day will begin with a morning class of meditation and flowing asana to gently open the body and attune the mind to the breath. The afternoon class will be a more gentle and restorative practise. Between classes there will be time to relax on the beach or by the pool, swim in the sea or take a massage.

One morning there will be a silent walk and forest bathing at sunrise. There will be one yoga-free day when you will have more time to head out and explore. On the final evening there will be a magical dinner on the beach.

Accommodation & food

Built on the grounds of sustainability and embracing the philosophy of barefoot luxury, the charming cottages and tents at Cabo Serai allow guests to explore the outdoors, whilst generously offering all the modern comforts of luxurious accommodation. All are ocean facing whilst being nestled in the privacy of the surrounding forest.

Each cottage and tent comes with an expansive decked balcony perched prominently over lush greenery and looking out over the sea. Perfect for lounging, catching the first rays of sunlight in the morning or the spectacular Goan sunsets at the end of the day.

Spacious, airy, luxurious and comfortable, all with en-suite bathrooms, air con and fans, the cottages and tents have been designed to enhance the tropical sea breeze and the tranquil sound of the waves.

Being set onto a hillside means there is a climb from the beach to the accommodation and hilltop shala or you can take a buggy.

Delicious and healthy Goan-inspired vegetarian breakfast will be offered each day and dinner on six evenings. The carefully crafted meals use locally sourced ingredients and selected fruit, vegetables and herbs sourced from the organic garden.

Rebecca
I just returned from a fantastic week with YOAS and Emma Arscott. It was simply wonderful and I wish I could do it all again next week.
Alison
It was great! Emma is an excellent teacher and really embraces the spirit of yoga. She was thoughtful and helpful, and would always give options for the more difficult poses. The classes were interesting and challenging in part, which is the way it should be!
